The Aztec Obsidian Pad is a professional training tool inspired by the strength and wisdom of the Aztec world. Its double-sided design offers two distinct experiences: the Aztec side , with the iconic carved calendar, medium-density brown rubber, and high-density rubber hoop, simulates the bounce and volume of a snare drum tuned to a medium pitch; and the Obsidian side , with extra-thick, indestructible Phylon rubber, offers a higher bounce and a stiffer feel, like that of a tightly tuned snare drum.

Both sides rest on a thick wooden base, providing exceptional stability and durability.

• Dual personality, dual purpose: Aztec face with medium bounce and moderate volume; Obsidian face with high bounce and more powerful volume.

• Realistic Rimshots: Aztec face with an ultra-resistant Phylon rubber black rim that replicates the feel of a real rim, without the loud bulk of metal, wood, or plastic. The rim's thickness and density also allow it to be struck like another pad, producing a different sound for creating distinct dynamics and techniques.

• Integrated internal “snare buzz” system: To simulate a snare drum as closely as possible, it responds from the softest ghost note to the most powerful hit, with a deeper timbre on the Aztec side and a higher one on the Obsidian side.

• Integrated stand: Obsidian side with secure space to anchor your phone without risk of it falling, even during intense sessions.

• Customizable feel: Includes two 10 mil Mylar sheets with a "removable" system to simulate the hardness of a marching snare drum or a real drumhead. Additional Mylar sheets can also be purchased separately.

• Design with soul: Mini replica of the Aztec calendar engraved on the pad and ring; Obsidian side inspired by the ancient volcanic stone with Quetzalcoatl in the center, like a pro patch “dot”.
